Juvenile Firesetter Program

This is a national program that Fire Department members use to help those juveniles who are involved with starting fires. The program involves fire safety education and counseling for children between the ages of 3 through 14 years old. The United States Fire Administration reports that between 25 and 40 percent of all fires are set by children within this age group.

If you have a juvenile firesetter problem, we have a National Fire Academy trained Juvenile Firesetter Intervention Specialists II who will handle this matter confidentially. Do not delay getting help for this problem! Call 636-256-2006 and ask for Fire Marshal Terry DeGuentz or click here to submit an electronic request.

Fire Station Tour

We offer station tours for groups of all ages. The tour consists of a look at where the firefighters live and work and the apparatus used to respond to an emergency. A highlight of the tour is a walk through of Sparky's Fire Safety House, where the group learns about hazards that are commonly found within our own homes.
